The Controversy of KONY 2012 by Invisible Children
This week, Invisible Children released their latest film entitled “KONY 2012″ with the specific purpose of making “Joseph Kony famous, not to celebrate him, but to raise support for his arrest and set a precedent for international justice.” To say the least, the film has garnered tremendous support and criticism.

In the face of criticism, Invisible Children has responded with an official statement in order to clarify their intentions and draw attention to their financial transparency and on-the-ground efforts toward rehabilitation of those impacted by the LRA.
