		<description>As far as some of the outrageous statements that were made at the rally, I&#039;ll give them the benefit of the doubt assuming they did not know these things would be said. On the other hand, they probably did not have a problem with most of the statements since I did not see much criticism after the event. I read plenty of criticism from &quot;regular folk&quot; but not denominational leaders as you mentioned.</description>

		<description>That leaders of these conservative denominations would stand up for an event that was basically a call to secularization (we&#039;re not sectarian) under the banner of a widened American civil religion (and we&#039;re not political) is quite shameful.</description>
