Wide is the gate which leads to destruction but narrow is the gate to eternal life and few there be who find it. And there were 10 virgins, five wise and five foolish. And the five foolish had no oil for their lamps and asked of the five wise who had oil for their lamps give us oil for our lamps. The five wise said No, for we may not have enough oil for our lamps. Go to those who sell and buy oil. And while they had gone to buy oil, the call went out Come into meet the Bridegroom and the five wise went in. Then the five foolish came and tried to get in but they were not let in. They were lost and would be the same group who was bound and cast into outer darkness. Remember that Ye believe in God ye do well, even the devils themselves believe and tremble at his name but they are damned for all eternity because they rebelled against God and do Not submit to God. Lucifer is the god of this world. Not all who cry LORD, LORD shall enter into the kingdom of God but those who do the will of the Father. For they shall heap to themselves teachers who will tickle their itching ears; they will have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof, from such Turn Away!

God hates sin but loves the sinner but God does not give license to believers to sin. Homosexuality, Fornication, Adultery, bearing false witness against people, putting anyone or anything as a god is a sin against God "Thou shalt have no other Gods before me." Making graven images is a sin also. Scripture clearly teaches that we must not worship any other but God (AMEN All Hail the King of the Universe.) We must not give place to any other spirit or vain imaginations which exalt themselves against God. Smart computer chip implantation is the technology which the Antichrist will use when he sets up his temporary kingdom and "...no man could buy or sell unless he had the mark or the number of his name." Revelation
You who pervert the law of God, Blind Guides, it will be better for you that you had never been born.

Joseph is exactly right. These ideas of changing the faith of Christianity to redefine the Gospel is prophecy fulfilled as in the "last days" people will do this. By deciding for themselves what is God's law we usurp his authority and make ourselves as gods. Jesus told the religious leaders of his day "...ye are gods?" actually was a question not a statement of fact. They placed themselves into God's place which comes from rebellion and pride. Man is in need of the saviour, The only begotten Son of God who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, totally in unison with God the Father, died on the Cross, was buried in the tomb during three days (Jewish days), resurrected from the dead, was seen by over 500 credible witnesses at one time, spent time with the disciples, ate fish, had a new powerful physical body (allowed Thomas Ditimus to put his hands in his wounds), promised to send the Comforter (Holy Spirit, Ruach Hebrew), promised to return soon, and ascended unto the Father in heaven as the disciples watched. There is no other name whereby men may be saved. The standard for Christians is holiness which is defined clearly in scripture The Holy Bible. Those who do not confess Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God and as the only way to God are heretic in the faith and are anathaema. Be wary for they shall come as an angels of light and as wolves in sheeps clothing but inwardly they will be ravenous wolves. Be Forewarned You can not reject the basic tenets of Christianity and be saved. For not all who say Lord, Lord will enter into the kingdom but those who do the will of the Father (Yahweh YHWH) I am rather concerned about the Christian Church today as many depart from the true faith.

I'm enjoying listening in to some new ideas about approaching the world through faith. One of my worst nightmares growing up was the maxim to "be ye separate" which for me just seemed impossible in terms of the evangelism I was told that the faithful would be a witness to the world about. You know, as to the story of Jesus. And juxtaposed to that maxim was the picture of Jesus himself who sat with any and everyone to discuss theology yes but more importantly to speak peace to bearers and the burdened of the law. The burdened welcoming the relief and the bearers rejecting the very notion of law as burden.

There's something about all that which makes "go ye therefore" a call to a nomadic faith, a portable faith if you will. One that isn't relegated to people just like oneself, people who go to church, people who don't go to church, people who share one's beliefs, people who share enough of the basics that compose one's own doctrinal train of thought that informs a very specific way of living in the world while rejecting any hint of being of the world. This is difficult stuff but if the tenets of a portable faith were accepted, the burden would be Light and the yoke would be easy.
